Dobermans are calm and friendly dogs that form very strong bonds with their owners. They are a good choice for families as long as they are correctly trained and well socialised from a young age which is vital where this breed is concerned, they become valued members of a family and get very attached to children in a household. Doberman training is essential for these special dogs.
STOPPING BAD BEHAVIOUR
Some trainers believe that giving a dog treats is the best way to train but in our opinion relying on treats exclusively just does not work. Your dog may learn how behave but only does it at because there's a treat at the end of it and many times treats just stop working. Essentially you are bribing the dog to behave properly. Bad behaviour by a dog makes an owner’s life a misery. Our dog training solves problems with bad behaviour as this is our speciality

DOBERMAN PUPPY TRAINING AT YOUR HOME
As well as adult Doberman training we also offer Doberman puppy training. Puppy Training of your our new Doberman puppy should be done as as soon as possible. It’s just fun for them and they love it! We train them from just a few weeks. They are taught obedience just the same as an adult dog. Then we train you so that you can keep up with it.
Training the owner is very important as you must learn the commands and the proper way to correct your puppy. This why all our training is 1-2-1 with your dog and we do not offer classes. We believe that classes involving a number of young puppies can be very distracting for your dog.
THE DOBERMAN OBEDIENCE TRAINING
Obedience is vital for your Doberman. Having an obedient Doberman makes ownership of your pet an absolute pleasure! At York Dog School our Doberman training will train your Doberman to a high level in obedience.We also believe that this should involve the owner at every stage and so our Doberman training is one to one with you and your dog.

DOG BOOTCAMP - RESIDENTIAL TRAINING
In addition to 1-2-1 Home training , we offer Residential Boot Camp Training at the kennels in blocks of a week at a time or just 3 days.

Owner training is a vital part of the process and working with the owner is a major part of the training. We work extensively with the owner at the kennels to make sure that they understand the commands and can take control of their dog following the training.
